Welcome to the Media Feed Project!

About

The Media Feed Project is an effort to create a definitive list of RSS/Atom feeds from news organizations. These are organized as follows:

• Print
• Television
• Internet-only
• Radio

Feed types supported as a minimum are as follows:

• Atom
• RSS 2.0
• JSON Feed

Feeds are organized by organization (for example, The New York Times), and all feeds from that organzation are stored in a file in Outline Processor Markup Language (OPML). The lists should be in subscription list format (see the [OPML spec]{http://dev.opml.org/spec2.html#subscriptionLists} for details).

How to get started

• Go to the reading_lists folder within this repo ( https://github.com/mediafeedproject/mediafeedproject) to review the available reading lists
• Save a reading list and import it into a feed reader to read the feeds from that organization
• Start creating reading lists for a news organization and submit a pull request
